True Grace candle refills. A glass act.

If, like me, you’re a fan of scented candles you probably have a cupboard somewhere full of empty glass receptacles you don’t quite know what to do with. The fancy coloured ones I tend to put tea lights in and a few have ended up as whiskey glasses but fundamentally they’re excess to requirements.

Clearly, candle makers Truce Grace have recognised this fact, too, because they also sell vacuum packed refills of their classic candles. I’m sure it’s not a new idea but it’s still a great one, especially as resources are so precious and budgets are tight these days. At just £12 they’re a snip too.

Bulldog launches Fairtrade products

A big hand this week to Britain’s biggest natural skincare brand for men, Bulldog, which has pulled evern further ahead of so-called natural brands by introducing a pair of Fairtrade products.

The first Fairtrade grooming range for men in the UK, it includes an Eco-System Shave Gel and Bulldog Eco-System Moisturiser featuring ethically-sourced ingredients from around the world.

Sadly, many grooming brands leave grubby,  exploitative footprints somewhere down the line so it’s nice to see one (and a British one at that) explore the Fairtrade route.  One of my favourite grooming brands just got even better.
