I started my journalistic career 30 years ago, initially working in young women’s magazines (eventually editing 19 magazine) before moving into men’s magazines and a stint as Deputy Editor of Men’s Health UK.
Although I now specialise in writing about style and grooming I have written features on everything from the art of foreplay to why men love football.
I have a special interest in men’s mental health issues and have written about everything from body image, sexual abuse and health anxiety to first person pieces about dealing with panic attacks and the bereavement experienced after the death of a pet. In other words, I can write about subjects other than fragrance and moisturiser!
Some of the newspapers and magazines I’ve contributed to include: Men’s Health, The Telegraph, The Telegraph Magazine, The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella Magazine, The Guardian, Harrods Magazine, Country Life, Gay Times, Gentleman’s Journal, Asda Magazine, Balance, Beauty Magazine, Modern Barber, Brides, The Times, Slimming World, Wedding & Virgin Atlantic Retail Therapy.
I’ve also written for numerous websites, including Ape To Gentleman, Men’s Health, Mr. Porter, Fashionbeans, AskMen, Clinique.co.uk, BBC III, Feelunique, High50 UK, Niven & Joshua, Mankind, Matchesfashion, MSNHim, Telegraph Men and Telegraph Luxury.
