As a journalist and blogger I am regularly sent products for review purposes by brands and PR agencies and in accordance with  ASA rules these are clearly declared on posts. (I do not consider these items to be ‘gifts’ but review/press samples and I am therefore honest in my appraisals of them.)

Likewise, any sponsored posts, paid for collaborations or affiliates are labelled as such in the interest of transparency.  If I have had a working relationship with a brand – perhaps as a paid consultant – in the present or past this will also be declared.
