I started my journalistic career nearly 25 years ago, initially working in young women’s magazines (eventually editing 19 magazine) before moving into men’s magazines and a stint as Deputy Editor of Men’s Health, a publication I have work for in some capacity for the last 14 years. Though I now specialise in writing about skincare and male grooming I have written features on everything from the art of foreplay, why men love football and panic attacks to investigative pieces on sexual abuse against men and first-person pieces like this. In other words, I can write about stuff other than moisturiser!
Some of the newspapers and magazines I have contributed to include: Men’s Health, Harrods Magazine, The Telegraph Style Magazine, Asda Magazine, Aware, BA Highlife Shop, Beauty Magazine, Brides, Brides Etc, The Times, Chat, DHC Magazine, Slimming World, DNA Magazine, Everyman, FQ Magazine, GT, London Lite, Mizz, 19, Living Etc, Olive, The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Time To Spa, The Local Mag, Textile View, Toni & Guy Magazine, Wedding, WH Smith Guides & Virgin Atlantic Retail Therapy.
I have also written for numerous websites, including: Ape To Gentleman, Clinique.co.uk, Fashionbeans.com, High50 UK, Niven & Joshua, Mankind, matchesfashion.com, Matchesfashion, Men’s Health, MSNHim, Time To Spa, The Grooming Lounge, Telegraph.co.uk, Telegraph Luxury, TheHealthCounter.com and Yell.com. I have also won two P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards for my work with retail websites.
